By replacing traditional press nuts and rivet nuts, our flat mouth friction drills generate localized frictional heat (reaching 600°C–800°C) to plasticize metal and form a precise, integrated collar in a single high-speed pass.
The flat mouth contour simultaneously trims and flushes the displaced metal surface, providing a smooth, flush finish ideal for high-precision dynamic sealing and flush-mount assembly applications.
