The Engineering Challenge: Welding Distortion and Datum Loss in Hydraulic Cylinders
In heavy machinery and fluid power manufacturing, large hydraulic cylinder barrels require an oil outlet fitting ("oil port") welded onto the exterior of the tube wall prior to final machining.
